Executive Team
Joe Lubeck
CEO and Co-Manager, Robbins Electra
CEO, Electra America

Joe Lubeck CEO Electra America, Co-Manager, REMJoe is the CEO and Co-Manager of Robbins Electra. An expert in value-added and distressed real estate repositioning, and multifamily acquisitions, operations and disposals, Joe has overseen four successful multifamily portfolio builds totaling 100,000 units, with a value in excess of $3 billion, over the last 15 years. He was the original founder of Landmark Apartment Trust, which sold its portfolio in 2015 for $1.9 billion.

Joe and his partners returned to the private sector in 2015 to begin a new portfolio build under the Electra America brand. As CEO of Electra America, Joe oversees all aspects of the company’s operations, from finance to property management. An honors graduate of Cornell University, Joe holds a Juris Doctor Degree from Delaware Law School. He is active in numerous civic and charitable organizations, including AIPAC, Hillel, and The Cornell University Tower Club.

Steve Robbins

Steve Robbins Co-Founder and CEO, Robbins Property AssociatesA seasoned real estate professional with over 25 years’ experience in leasing, acquisition and asset management, Steve is CEO and co-manager of Robbins Electra and CEO/co-founder of Robbins Property Associates. In these roles, he is responsible for the company’s management of over 20,000 apartment units in the Sun Belt.

Steve started his career with Sawyer Realty Holdings, a real estate investment and management firm specializing in multifamily housing with a portfolio of 80 properties along the Eastern seaboard. During that time he was directly involved with the acquisition of over 15,000 apartment units on the East Coast and was responsible for a full range of activities for over 3.2 million square feet of commercial property space. In 2009, he co-founded Robbins Property Associates with his brother, Mitchell Robbins. During the course of his career he has been involved in the asset management, acquisition, disposition and/or financing assignments for over 25,000 multifamily units.

Kristi King

Kristi King COO & Principal, RPA and REM

As COO and Principal of Robbins Electra and Robbins Property Associates, Kristi is responsible for the operational day-to-day management of both companies. Kristi is directly involved with the multiple aspects of the company’s multifamily ventures, from acquisition through financing, operational integration, strategic initiatives, investor relations, financial performance, renovation process, physical maintenance, promoting the company culture and overseeing all facets of the company and property operations.  She has been instrumental to the aggressive and successful growth of both Robbins Electra Management and Robbins Property Associates.

Kristi joined Robbins Property Associates in 2010 as one of the co-founders of the management company, working diligently to develop and expand the company’s management platform.  During her tenure with Robbins Electra and Robbins Property Associates she has participated in the acquisition of over 67 assets totaling over $2.5 billion in asset value and over overseen the operational management of over 72 properties/ 25,000 units. She has over 20 years of diverse experience in multifamily and commercial real estate working with key national and international real estate companies.

Jim Miller
CFO & Principal, Robbins Electra
President & CFO, Electra America

As CFO and Principal of Robbins Electra, and President & CFO of Electra America, Jim is responsible for the financial day-to-day management of both companies. He has over 25 years of accounting, finance and operational expertise, and has been involved in 210 asset acquisitions and 180 dispositions totaling over $4 billion in asset value over a 15-year period. Prior to joining Electra America, Jim was the COO and CFO of Landmark Apartment Trust. A Certified Public Accountant, Jim holds a B.S. degree from Florida State University and a M.B.A. degree (Accounting) from the University of South Florida.

Andrea Springer
Executive Vice President, Southeast

Amanda Smith - Executive Vice President, East/North Carolina and VirginiaAndrea Springer is Executive Vice President of Property Operations for Robbins Electra, with the responsibility for the company’s Florida and Maryland portfolios consisting of approximately 28 properties and over  8,500 units. Active in the multifamily industry since 1998, Andrea has extensive experience in property management, business development, portfolio management, construction management, property operations, and strategic positioning of conventional assets. Her expertise includes lease ups, acquisitions, renovations and the repositioning of financially and physically stressed assets. Prior to joining Robbins Electra/Robbins Property Associates in 2010, she held positions of regional manager, project manager, internal auditor and property manager, amongst others, with industry leaders including Echelon Property Management, Sentinel Management and Decade Properties. Her experience includes conventional, affordable, mid-rise, high-rise, and garden-style communities, both vintage and new.  Andrea has been recognized as Regional Manager of the Year by the Bay Area Apartment Association, and Robbins Property As an Executive and Regional Trainer, she is recognized by her peers  as a strong leader with a wide variety of industry experience.  Andrea graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama and holds a  bachelor  of arts in Communications and Business.

Debra Claytor
Executive Vice President, West

Debra Claytor - Executive Vice President, West

Debra serves as Executive Vice President of Property Operations over the Texas region, with responsibility for managing daily operations of personnel, purchasing, administration and other departments for 5,175 units in four major Texas markets. Her focus is maintaining efficient team structure and performance through analytics, processes and tools, and working with the leadership team to develop plans to meet future needs.

Debra, whose career spans 20 years, has experience in both conventional and tax-credit property management. Prior to joining Robbins Electra, she held positions with Landmark Apartment Trust, Alliance Residential Company and Walden. Debra holds the CAPS (Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor) designation from the National Apartment Association, and has served as a member of many committees and panels regarding education and industry trends. She has extensive experience and a distinctive management style that will support Robbins Electra in realizing its objectives.

Jeanne Caldwell
Executive Vice President, Accounting

Jeanne joined Robbins Electra as Executive Vice President after over 20 years at AEW Capital Management, a real estate investment advisor.

As the Chief Accounting Officer for AEW’s real estate opportunity funds, Jeanne had been responsible for overseeing the accounting group, investor reporting, cash management and all other accounting and finance activities. She was also involved in numerous acquisitions and dispositions. Prior to AEW, Jeanne had served as Assistant Controller for RM Bradley, a residential property management company, and as a certified public accountant with KPMG. She is a graduate of Bentley University.

Megan Kee
Executive Vice President, East

Megan Kee comes to Robbins Electra with over 30 years of experience in multifamily property management throughout the Southeastern US. She has overseen a variety of portfolio sizes and class types including conventional, urban midrise, acquisitions, dispositions, new development and asset repositioning. Prior to joining Robbins Electra, Megan served as Vice President of Operations for Bell Partners Inc. where she was responsible for maximizing performance across a portfolio of over 10,000 units in North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.Megan began her career in property management as a leasing consultant with Insignia Residential and was quickly promoted through the ranks joining Summit Properties in the 90's, where she held the position of Regional Manager.

Lora Radzevich
Director of Human Resources

Lora joined Robbins in 2011 and is responsible for the Human Resources and Payroll Departments.

Lora holds considerable management experience, primarily in the areas of manufacturing and distribution. Prior to joining Robbins, she worked at a division of ConAgra and Cosco/Safety First, and served 14 years with a start-up distribution company. After moving her family from Ohio to the Tampa Bay area in 2004, she acquired her Florida Real Estate Sales License along with her Community Association Manager (CAM) license. She also holds a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) as well. Lora holds an Associate Degree in Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Devin Lawrence
Director of Marketing and Social Media

Boasting more than 10 years of multifamily housing industry experience, Devin Lawrence brings dynamic experience and knowledge to the Robbins Electra team as Director of Marketing. 

Having joined Robbins Electra in March 2015, she previously worked as the community manager for Gateway on Fourth Apartment Homes in St. Petersburg, Tampa, where she oversaw associates and service teams to promote great strides for the apartment community.

Prior to joining Robbins Electra, Devin served as community manager for Snell Isle Luxury Waterfront Apartments, where she spearheaded marketing strategies to ensure that the apartment complex achieved all company’s goals. 

Community management has given Devin the ability to use the power of marketing to make communities flourish, putting Robbins Electra at the forefront of multifamily housing. 

Christine DeFillippis
Portfolio and Acquisitions Director

Christine has been engaged in the real estate investment and finance industry for over 20 years. Since Robbins and Electra joined forces in 2015, Christine has closed in excess of $1 billion dollars in real estate and $720 million in debt representing over 11,000 units. Christine has diversified real estate investment experience, having previously worked for developers on the ownership side and also debt origination and servicing on the banking side. Prior to joining Electra, Christine was a loan originator at GMAC Commercial Mortgage/Capmark (now Berkadia). She received her Bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate and an MBA in financial planning from Florida Atlantic University. She stays very involved in women’s education through her boarding school in the Berkshires, where she sits on Alumnae Council.

Travis Wobbekind
Director of Investor Relations

As Director of Investor Relations for Electra America, Travis is responsible for keeping each investor partner informed of their investment activity on a monthly and quarterly basis. His duties include reviews of each operating agreement to understand how each investment is structured, working with the Company’s treasury function to calculate monthly cash distributions to the investors, preparation of operational forecasts and monthly cash flow analyses, preparation of monthly operational summaries at both the individual asset and joint venture level, assisting investment partners with their own reporting requirements, and addressing questions as they arise from the investor partners in regards to their respective investment’s current status.

Prior to joining Electra, Travis spent nine years at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, serving both public and private sector clients in the firm’s audit practice. He is heavily involved in philanthropic work, and is currently a member of the Hillsborough County Big Brothers Big Sisters Leadership Council. A licensed CPA in Florida, Travis holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida.

Dana Hammond
Director of Training & Marketing

As Director of Training and Marketing, Dana brings over 20 years of property management expertise to her role, including 15 years’ experience in the training and education fields. Prior to joining Robbins, Dana served as the Operations Trainer for Florida at Greystar Capital Partners. She is active on numerous local, state and national committees, and holds multiple designations with the Florida Apartment Association, National Apartment Association and National Apartment Association Education Institute. She is past President of the Tampa Bay Area Apartment Association, and currently serves on its Board of Directors. She holds a degree from Georgia Southern University.
